Concept Introduction Branch
The Concept Introduction Branch focuses on introducing fundamental STEM concepts to students in grades K-8. Volunteers create engaging, hands-on activities and lessons that spark curiosity and build foundational knowledge.
Expectations: Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, patience with younger learners, and enthusiasm for making STEM accessible and fun.
Advanced Tutoring Qualifications
Advanced tutoring requires completion of AP/IB coursework or equivalent college-level courses. Verification may be requested.
Fundraising Branch
The Fundraising Branch is responsible for securing resources to support our educational programs. Volunteers develop and implement fundraising strategies, organize events, and build relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
Expectations: Strong communication skills, creativity in developing fundraising ideas, ability to network, and comfort with outreach to businesses and community members.
